National Carrot Cake Day is celebrated each year on the 3rd February.

At Blythswood Square we have a particularly tasty Carrot Cake with Creme Fraiche Sorbet and Gingercrumb, which appears occasionally on our Afternoon Tea menus.

It was an incredibly sad day for the team at The Town House Collection when a member of the kitchen brigade at Blythswood Square – David Kilpatrick was diagnosed with terminal cancer in 2013.

A small seed was planted by the spa team when a suggestion was made to create a charity calendar to raise money for cancer awareness. As a result, last year the boys did their thing and we got to look at their lovely ‘faces’ for 12 months.

This year its the girls turn and we hope to raise plenty of money and awareness for Breast Cancer Care, a charity we are committed to helping though out the year at The Town House Collection.
